Help & FAQs

Simple answers about using LymphAware.

This page answers common questions about LymphAware cards, QR-linked profiles, patient accounts and support.

Frequently asked questions

LymphAware is being designed to remain straightforward and easy to use, including for people who are not confident with technology.

What happens when someone scans my card?

The QR code opens your LymphAware profile and displays only the information you have chosen to make available.

Does the person scanning my card need an account?

No. A valid QR-linked profile can be viewed without creating a LymphAware account or signing in.

Can I change the information on my profile?

Yes. The patient portal is being designed so you can review and manage the information you choose to share.

Can I see what other people will see?

Yes. The portal will include a preview so you can check what appears when your LymphAware QR code is scanned.

What if I lose my LymphAware card?

LymphAware is being designed so that a lost card can be reported and appropriate steps taken to prevent the card from continuing to provide access to the patient's profile. A replacement card can then be arranged where appropriate.

What if I forget my password?

The patient portal will include a secure way to recover access to your account if you forget your password. The exact account recovery process will be finalised as the portal is developed.

Is LymphAware a medical record?

No. LymphAware is a communication and identification aid. It is not a clinical record and does not replace professional assessment or medical advice.

Do I have to share every piece of information?

No. Patient control is central to LymphAware. You choose which relevant information you want to make available.

How do I contact LymphAware?

Support arrangements will be provided for participants during the initial patient pilot. Contact options for wider use will be developed as LymphAware progresses.

Need additional help?

LymphAware is being developed with simplicity and accessibility in mind.

During the pilot, support will be deliberately straightforward so participants can get help with account access, cards, QR profiles or other practical issues.

Support during the pilot

The initial pilot will be small and supervised, allowing questions or difficulties to be identified and addressed before wider use.
